The Product Add-Ons module helps to offer flexible, personalized choices for customers, like custom engravings, gift wrapping, extended warranties, and more.
It helps you offer flexible and personalized choices for your customers. It has 3 different tabs: General, Global Add-ons, and Style.
1. General #
1.1 Enable Product Add-ons: Toggle this button to activate the product add-ons module. This is mandatory.
1.2 Product Add-ons Position: You can customize the product add-ons position on the product details page. You can choose either the “Before-Add-to-Cart Button” or “After-Add-to-Cart Button.”
1.3 Loop Add-to-Cart Button Label: You need to enter a text to override the default “Add to Cart” button label for the product that has add-ons on shop/archive pages. You can leave this empty for a default label.
1.4 Update Product Base Price: Activate this button to allow the product’s base price (which is displayed beneath the title) to dynamically update based on the total price of selected options or add-ons. Kindly note that it will not work with variable products.
1.5 Product Add-ons Hook Priority: You need to insert the hook priority for displaying the product add-ons.
1.6 Total Price Box Display: Choose which information you want to show in the total price box.
1.7 Total Price Box Text: You can enter the preferred text to show on the total price box.
1.8 Show Add to Cart After Selection: Activate this option to show the add to cart button after selection of the product add-ons.
1.9 Show Add-ons in Cart Page: Enable this button to display the product add-ons in the cart or checkout page.
1.10 Show Add-ons in Order Email: Switch on this button to make the product add-ons visible in the order email.
1.11 Specify User Roles: You can customize which user groups can see the product add-ons. You can either select “All Users” or “Only Users with Specific Roles”. Furthermore, if you select the second one, you can choose the user roles according to your preference.
2. Global Add-ons #
Now, move to the Global Add-ons tab.
2.1 You can create a new group by clicking on the “Add New Group” button.
2.2 Group Name: Now insert the group name for the product add-ons group. This is a mandatory field.
2.3 Group Description: Write a description of the group according to your preference.
2.4 Group By: Now choose your desired field type. You can either select ‘Category’ or ‘Product. ’
2.5 Group By Category: You can select categories to include in the product add-ons. You can also leave blank to apply in all categories.
2.6 Display Group Name: Activate this button to display the group name in the frontend.
2.7 Display Group Description: Enable this button to show the group description in the frontend.
2.8 You can also create a new field if required by clicking on the “Add New Field” button.
Now, click on the “Save Changes” button to save the updates.
3. Styles #
Now, move to the Style tab. This setting controls the style of the front-end appearance.You can customize the visuals of the following items: “Group Header,”“Field Groups,”“Form Styles,” and “Price Box.” Customize the settings according to your preference to get the best front-end appearance.
Now, click on the “Save Changes” button to save the updates.
