The Global Settings panel is the control center for ShopBuilder. From here you can switch core features on or off for your entire store and fine-tune how each one behaves — all from a single screen, without touching any code.
How to get there: From your WordPress dashboard, go to ShopBuilder → Settings, then make sure the Global Settings tab is selected.
Getting around the Settings screen
Across the top of the screen you’ll find four tabs that group everything ShopBuilder offers:
- Global Settings — store-wide features and their options (this page).
- Elementor Widgets — turn individual ShopBuilder widgets on or off in Elementor.
- Modules — enable or disable the larger feature modules (Wishlist, Compare, Quick View, and more).
- Free vs Pro — a quick comparison of what’s included in the free version and what Pro unlocks.
- On the right is a Search settings box — start typing the name of any feature to jump straight to it instead of scrolling.

General Settings #
The General section contains 6 elements — the store-wide features you’ll use most often. Each item works the same simple way:
Use the toggle switch to turn the feature on or off.
Click the gear (⚙️) icon to open that feature’s detailed settings and customize how it works.
You’ll also notice small labels on some items: a New badge marks a recently added feature, Beta means it’s still being refined, and a Pro badge means the feature is part of ShopBuilder Pro.
1. Advanced Optimizations (New)
A set of performance controls that help keep your store fast. When enabled, ShopBuilder loads only the assets (styles and scripts) that each page actually needs, instead of loading everything everywhere — which reduces page weight and improves loading speed. Click the gear icon to choose exactly which optimizations are active.
2. AI-implementation (Beta)
Brings AI assistance into your store workflow to help speed up everyday tasks. Because it’s currently in Beta, the feature is still evolving and improving. Toggle it on, then use the gear icon to connect and configure the AI options.
3. Notification Settings
Controls the small on-screen messages your customers see when they take an action — for example, “Added to cart,” “Added to wishlist,” or “Added to compare.” Use the toggle to switch the notification system on or off, and the gear icon to customize the message wording, position, and style.
4. Social Share Settings
Manages the social sharing buttons that let visitors share your products on networks such as Facebook, X (Twitter), Pinterest, and more. Toggle it on to display the buttons, then open the gear icon to choose which networks appear and adjust how the buttons look.
5. Guest User Controls (Pro)
Lets you decide what visitors who are not logged in are allowed to do on your store — for instance, requiring users to sign in before they can use the wishlist, compare, or other features. This is a ShopBuilder Pro feature.
6. Tooltip Settings (Pro)
Controls the helpful tooltips that appear when customers hover over icons and buttons (like the wishlist or compare icons). Use it to manage the tooltip text, trigger, and styling so the hints match your store’s design. This is a ShopBuilder Pro feature.
